PHP Programmer

Syria-News has an immediate opening for a web developer for PHP/MySQL website development.

We are looking for a creative and innovative developer to join our rapidly growing design and development team to work on a wide variety of web projects.

This is a full-time position. We are looking for people living in Damascus city.

Responsibilities

* Custom PHP/MySQL coding.
* Website architecture planning.
* Bug fixes.
* Client contact throughout development process.
* Work closely with other developers and designers.
* Active participation in the development community.

Knowledge, Skills, experience:

* PHP and MySQL programming/coding knowledge and experience required.
* Unix/Linux, Apache; basic server administration knowledge is plus.
* AJAX, Javascript, Apache, xml and/or Flash is a definite plus.
* High written and verbal communication skills required.
* Communication with clients skill for telephone contact, email and IM.
* Self-motivation and ability to work independently, but also within a team-work, taking directions and working with others.
* Suffecient English,multilinguality is a plus!
